Solnet Building In Batam Island: A Landmark With Innovative Glass Solutions By ZRG
The grand completion of the Solnet Building project in Batam Island, Indonesia was a significant milestone in February 2023. The company ZRG took into account the tropical climate of Indonesia which is characterized by strong sunlight and high humidity when designing the glass curtain-wall of this building. In doing so, We developed a solution that did not just tackle environmental challenges but also enhanced the look of the edifice.
The curtain wall facade at Solnet Building reflects our commitment towards innovation and customer-centered design thinking; even as it used various names for this part of their masterpiece. Low-emissivity insulated glass (low-transmittance Low-E) is the main type of glass employed on its frontage; it works by efficiently bouncing back most infrared rays from the sun thus preventing heat gain into any structure enveloped by such material. This single choice lowers down effects caused by hot Indonesian weather conditions while also saving energy through reduced reliance on air conditioning units.
Furthermore, the ground level features low transmittance coated laminated glasses which are known to block off solar radiation and provide excellent thermal insulation properties at once too. Such windows have an advanced coating technology that adds to other defenses against eternal sunshine found in those parts; hence ensuring comfortable indoor temperatures for occupants all year round.
Not only has completion transformed the Solnet Building into a landmark within Batam Island but also acts as a living proof of architectural magnificence everywhere else too. This is mainly because when situated next to sea shores such beautiful buildings tend to soften harsh reflections coming from ocean waters thereby creating calmness around them which eventually spreads over entire structures through these types of glasses diffusing lights gently inside instead so providing an elegant sophisticated touch throughout every corner thus making them appear more attractive than ever before while remaining modernistic concerning their overall design cues.
Many people have loved this project including both installers and owners who cannot stop praising our solution. The installing team says they were impressed with how easy it was to install these products as well as their high-quality finish while the owner appreciates its energy-saving features.
At ZRG, we always keep in mind our customers’ needs and wants because we want them satisfied from start to end. We believe that listening carefully to clients and having a deep understanding of what they require enables us to come up with not just any solution but one that surpasses their imaginations. The completion of the Solnet Building is an example demonstrating this belief since such dedication towards excellence shown during the design process has yielded not only visually appealing structures but also functional masterpieces.
